miXed EmotiOnS

I've consulted my OB-GYNE a week ago since my husband and I really wanted to have a baby soon. During our first meeting, I was advised to have an ultrasound to see what the problem is. Last Tuesday, I've undergone a TVS (trans vaginal ultrasound) and based on the result I am positive with poly cystic ovarian disease.

Based on my own research, "Polycystic ovary disease affects hormone cycles. In poly cystic ovary disease, there are many poorly developed follicles in the ovaries. The eggs in these follicles do not mature and, therefore, cannot be released from the ovaries. Instead, they form cysts in the ovary. This can contribute to infertility."

Dra. Analyn Serrano -Reyes was so patient in explaining my case and ensured that I understood everything that we need to do. For three months, I will be taking pills to normalize my menstruation and after that, medicines for ovulation will be given. For me, this is not a sure positive outcome but I am very optimistic with the whole process. With the undying support of my family and hubby, I am sure that I will conceive soon. In GOD's grace, we will soon have our own family.

This is how it looks like.

hi JB,

I know a lot of women who had the same problem but they were still able to conceive. Follow the advise of your OB Gyne and take your medicines religiously (is it provera pill that you're taking?)and later on God will bless you with a baby you've been wanting to have.

Happy weekend:)
