bebe@14 weeks

Last Saturday, we visited my OB-Gyne again and it was a very positive one. We were so happy since my lab test results were all good and so far my sugar is normal. Dra said that if my FBS (Fasting Blood Sugar) result for next month is good, we might stop the intake of Metformin (medicine which controls sugar). I was also surprised since I have not gained weight for more than a month now. Actually, I am only allowed to gain a kilo per month since I am already overweight (huhuhu).
Baby's heartbeat is very fast and Dra did not have a hard time locating it unlike before. She said that my baby also grew bigger and soon I should expect some movements. Actually, I am getting excited each month since by Christmas time, my tummy will be bulging.

This is how my baby looks like at 14 weeks :

BaBy DyoCo

I Just had another ultrasound last Tuesday to make sure that the blood formed inside my womb is already gone. I was so happy when Dra. Ann told me that my baby is stronger and the heartbeat is even faster. We were so worried since the first ultrasound showed a blood formation inside which can actually lead to the death of the baby if not given proper attention. Though I still had some spotting the week before, I am now confident that we are both safe. All I need is more rest and was advised to get back to work by the first week of November since the baby will turn 3 months by then. That will be the end of the danger for me.
Right now, I am still extra careful since I might still bleed anytime. But, thanks to my OB-Gyne who is very caring and really shows genuine concern for our safety.

d MiraCLe!

Few months ago, I was diagnosed with PCOS (Polycistic Ovaries). To cure it, I went through a lot of blood tests and medications. I never thought that I will get pregnant easily with my condition. It did take a lot of patience and effort.

Last July, I was delayed for more than 40days and got quite excited to the fact that I might be pregnant. But I was not! I was quite disappointed then. So, the next month I did not expect anything. I was again delayed but never thought of being pregnant. Until, it came to a point that I got bored in waiting for my menstruation after 1 and 1/2 months. It was 6 am of Sept 22 and I was just having my morning visit to the bathroom. Then I saw the PT and just thought of having a test. To my surprise, I got two red lines after just 10 seconds. I was shocked for a few seconds then I ran towards hubby who was still sleeping that time. I told him that it's positive! He can't believe it so he asked for the PT. That's the only time he believed me :) Then what happened next were so memorable! I can't forget how tight he hugged me. The smile on his face was so sweet and I can't hold the tears which fell down my cheeks. That was such a moment!

And now, I am 7-8 weeks pregnant and I am getting excited each day. Though I was advised to take a bed rest for 2 weeks, I wanna make the most out of it. I hope that everything turns out fine after 2 weeks.

BeR Na!

I noticed that its been quite a while since I last posted a blog entry. I am not too busy, yet I do not have an open schedule. Even me, I can't explain why I am not posting lately. Anyway, what's important is that I am getting back online slowly.

I can't believe that Christmas is fast approaching! :)

So, what does Christmas mean to us? Is it just about bonuses, gift giving, or good financial status? For most of us, Christmas is something to look forward to. However, it is also something that we tend to forget its meaning. Every year, we celebrate this special day but do we do it differently? I am actually thinking as early as now what to do differently this year. I feel like I need to make the celebration more selflessly and focus on doing more sacrifices to others.
Despite of all the negativism happening, it will make life easier for all of us if we give love and think of others not just ourselves. Let us learn to share our blessings (it maybe great or small) since this will make a big impact on others' lives. I believe, men are born good. Sometimes, we just need to be reminded. Let us count or blessings each day and we will see how rich we are.

I hope I can attain my year's goal!

So, who's up for the challenge?

miXed EmotiOnS

This is the 2nd part of my previous article about my case. As I have posted before, I will be undergoing a process with my case -PCOS (Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome).

As of now, I am about to finish the third month of the first step - Taking pills to regulate my menstruation. I am kinda excited since I will need to see my OB-Gyne soon once my period comes. That means, I will be moving on to the next step - Ovulation. This means that I maybe taking fertility pills and need to schedule contact during my ovulation period.

I am so excited since I know my desire of having a baby is very near. We can already determine if it will work on not. I am now crossing my fingers since I might need a miracle on this.

But then, still I lift everything to the Lord on this. HE is still the one who knows what's best for me and hubby. In HIS right time, I know he will give it to us. And if not, I am sure that there are some other options.

Friends, please do help me through your prayers. Prayers do miracles.

a LittLe FooD TriP

Last Tuesday, hubby and I went for a little food trip. We landed on an Italian resto since we were looking for something different from the ordinary. Just got a few shots though.

the chicken macaroni salad

Italian spaghetti with a yummy bread

the big slice of stuffed pizza

the financier ;p

We were full and satisfied after we paid more than 500Php. We did not regret it though since the food was superb!
